the september newsletter (see below) has stimulated readers to relate their stories of crazy people -- from inappropriate drivers to inappropriate shoppers... anywhere people interact. this is a crazy crazy time and things are only getting worse.

blesstheworld.com has launched a page of affiliate shops ~ links to other websites such as chocolate, coffee, wine, etc... where the retailer is green and socially conscious and donates to ecological and humanitarian charities. some really wonderful shops... if you follow the link from blesstheworld.com to one of the shops ~ gourmet chocolate for example ~ and make a purchase, blesstheworld.com receives a small referral fee.
on the humanity shops page, it states that this money (the referral fee) goes to help support the work of blesstheworld.com... and thus the question arises: what is the work of blesstheworld.com?

this week, blesstheworld.com has donated books to literacy and cultural programs in india, pakistan (for women in afghanistan ~ the taliban notwithstanding), brazil, zimbabwe, greece, denmark (anti-government squatters), poland, czech republic, and the ukraine. illiteracy is a worldwide shame on humanity.
blesstheworld.com regularly supplies the blessthebody.com spiritual remedy first aid to disaster victims. http://blesstheworld.com/spiritual_remedies.html this also takes considerable time and money. but it is a great service to wounded souls.
besides these humanitarian works, many many free consultations are given ~ you know who you are ~ both over the phone and through email. no one is turned away from meditation class for lack of funds ~ though those who do not pay, usually do not return. and the blesstheworld.com website includes a page of free posters (have you printed and posted peace fliers? if you have, do it again. if you havent, start now! http://royanthonyshabla.com/posters.html). what have you done today to save the world?
